TechEth Livemap is online!

There are still things to do like a few wrong colors (castle roof for example) and some css/script work but hey you can have a live-view (30sec interval when the play button was pressed) of your TechEth servers map now! It will be integrated into our website soon. ⛏

Hint: as mountains and biopods would disturb the view, it got a Y limit of +2000 nodes.

Milan, this livemap is really great!
Thank you very, very much to bring it alive!!!

Now it's much more enjoyable to explore and search nice areas, because everyone can see them from sky (again). Such a map compensates the annoying need to load the Server map, every time a player joins a MT server since it it allows to "imagine" the rest of the area.

btw: since the old spawn is not so easy to find on the map (only ingame with the command "/rocket");

i cant run the server... my computer isn't enough performant and when i "try" to play, it LAG a lot, like 10 fps and less at moment. do you have idea on what i can do to reduce the lag?

Use minimal/default settings and don't play full screen.
Disable full viewing range (R) and try with a view range (+/-) of 100, 50 or even 20.

You have to provide at least 2,5GB ram for minetest.
