Hiding player name mod

Where do I find a mod that hides player names when they are a certain distance from a given player?

Not a mod but setting player_transfer_distance in minetest.conf will do what you want.

I recommend 8 if you are using standard view distance in Minetest.

Is this setting is up to date? 8 means eight blocks? I try to add this to my minetest.conf, but isn't working.
