Yeah, I know. But sometimes I get stuck on trying to find a secret that you guys hint about, and I just want to know what it is. Most of the secrets that I tried to find, like the one you posted, are extremely difficult for me to find.

Sorry if I sound rude, I just REALLY want to find those secrets, and it's really hard for me to find them.

Nope. The terminal and mysterious buttons might have something to do with it. Plus there may be node detectors on the ladders and wood

i thought about it too, but detectors makes clicks when they are activated/deactivated

Maybe there is a secret entrance you have to break through (using axe, maybe?).

0. As you proceed through the box, you will earn “accolades” which appear as signs on the wall. These are simple awards for bragging rights. They are not required to solve the puzzle.

1. There are 8 accolades we know of. Can you find them all?

2. You earn most accolades by solving the main puzzle

3. Smelt many precious metals for an accolade

4. You might want to play the box again and try something differently

The accolades are as follows (forgive me, for I might not remember the names perfectly):

• No hints!: Solve the puzzle without using the hints button at the bookshelf
• Learned to smelt!: Smelt your first ore
• Forge a ladder: Forge a ladder and collect it
• It takes two!: Place the second ladder piece on the wall (EDIT: Nope. Actually, it's different: Get the nexus with having placed only 2 ladder pieces, not 3)
• Fully equipped: Have all tools
• Planter of meaningless wheat: Place hay on the black wool, then collect the wheat seed and place it in the garden outside
• Who needs rope?: Find a way to enter the mine without extending the rope
• Gold hoarder: Collect 8 or 9 gold

+ And now for something funny I figured out (mostly harmless)

This text assumes you already solved the box.

It is actually possible to go on the roof of the big house! First, smelt an ore so the steel door opens, then DO NOT dig the hay and DO NOT chop the trees. You will need them. Go outside thru the steel door and use the hay and trees as steps to jump on the roof of the small house. From the small house, jump on higher leaves on the trees until you can reach the roof of the big house!

Tada! You are now on the roof of the big house! Enjoy your view. But there is no reward, accolade, secret or anything else here.

I just thought it is interesting you can actually reach the roof without the ladder so I wanted to share it with you.

+ Box 586 bugs (developer's log)

• The rope is intended to be fully traversable, but one of the mech components deploys one of the segments wrong.
• There is an accolade for "Totally Cheated", which appears to turn the anvil (black wool) into a TNT block and place a sign on it, which should be possible by reaching the roof and clipping through the slabs ( Minetest  client glitch abuse) to collect the nexus without forging a ladder, but it was never tested and probably doesn't work.
• The "It takes two!" accolade is actually intended for players who reach the attic and open the nexus chest without placing the third ladder.
• It's technically possible to collect enough non-brown ores to completely exhaust the box's finite coal supply before you smelt 3 iron blocks, and thereby enter a fail state where the box is incompletable, but you'd have to be working very hard and intentionally to achieve that.
