It looks like Craft Studio has been made free to use, and has the ability to produce models and animations in a style that would work well inside of minetest.

https://sparklinlabs.itch.io/craftstudio

Has anyone tried integrating Craft Studio models into minetest yet? It can export obj files, but animations are exported in a custom json format.

The OBJs should work without any problems, but you won't be able to get any animations with those as OBJ doesn't support animation. You'd have to write something to combine the mesh and animation data into some format that supports animation, such as .b3d or .x

Looked good up to the point where it forces you to register an account to use it.

Could you please add a list of LUA Editors / IDEs. Maybe with some columns to see which supports what.
e.g. syntax highlighting, Autocomplete minetest api, debugging, etc.

The ones I already read about here in the forum are:

If we'd list every IDE, the list would explode and it's not really what this page is meant for.

Same for auto-complete. If you insist on having that, create a new page, maybe.

hmm, just a week ago when I decided to use atom I had a similar thought, but wanted to know more like what editors are used most here, as it might be easier to get help, or also best solution worked. Might a poll help to find out the most loved ? or best for lua ?
