Mods compatible with Minetest 5.0.0

Postby uwu » Thu Mar 07, 2019 8:28 pm

Hey, is there a list of mods that already support Minetest 5.0.0?
The changelog says it's a breaking release and old mods could not work, but I've found some that do anyway. Is there a way to know if a mod is compatible with 5.0.0 besides testing it myself and seeing if there are bugs?

sorry, but you forgot the only link, where all mods known yet are named and proofed:

mods that run good until now after update from 0.4.x to 5.x

no wonder that the people start then again an own post searching ...
as also in the ContendDB there is no sign at the mods about 5.0.0 proofed ...

What is "all mods known yet"?

You mean mods that you personally endorse? Why should all server operators rely on a list curated by a single individual, rather than an comprehensive list of mods compiled and reviewed by the community at large?

They shouldn't. They should st up a testing server and try out the mods they want to use before updating their actual server.

There is no list because almost all mods work with 5.0.0 so it's pointless to list them.
5.0.0 generally did not break mods, it only broke old/new client/server compatibility.
