QUESTION ABOUT MAPGENS

HI! I WANNA WRITE A GAME THAT WILL BE SURVIVAL IN AN OCEAN WITH SMALL ISLANDS. I WAS WONDERING IF THERE'S A WAY TO GENERATE AN OCEAN WITH SMALL ISLANDS WITH ANY OF THE MAPGENS INCLUDEED IN MINETEST OR WILL I HAVE TO WRITE MY OWN C++ MG?

I think there might be a 'Tropical' MOD in MT5.0 MODs list....

Well, there's the sailing mod, but that's not what I meant. I was just wondering if it's possible to use a built-in minetest mapgen to generate something like this and I think i have a plan. I'm gonna try to define a biome that's gonna expand from -10000 or so to like 20 so it will create small islands to venture.

Changed my mind. minetest would be too bad for that game. I'm gonna use another engine.

Maybe too fast. When tweaking "Valleys" mapgen you can achieve stunning results, including charming archipelagos of small to medium-sized islands with interesting topography.
