I was having problems using the LessDirt texture pack with MineClone2.
It turns out that the Linux version of Minetest (tag: 5.0.0) seems to have problems with the dos-format override.txt file LessDirt uses. It has CR+LF (\r\n) line termination.
ERROR[Main]: generateImage(): Could not load image "mcldefault_grass_side.png
ERROR[Main]: " while building texture; Creating a dummy image
When I run dos2unix on this override.txt file, it works just fine.
I also tried running on Windows, and the override.txt file seems to work equally well with either dos- or unix-format line termination.
Is this a bug in how Minetest reads override.txt files in Linux, or is there an undocumented requirement that they need to be formatted as unix-style files?
