Creative off, but still see inventory

Hello all,

I have to say that I am a bit embarrassed to say, but I am a bit stuck. When we play with damage on and creative mode off, we can still see all inventory items, verses having to go gather them like a real bockhead.

I am running 5.1 Dev, and have added several mods. Unified Inventory is a new mod to me, I like and suspect may be the cause. I feel that there is a setting int he mod that I am missing that will not show all inventory when creative is off, then show all when we are in creative mode.

hi

unified inventory has built in all items shown as craft guide but without creative you can't pick item from it. Hiding item list isnt straightforward, need to modify some codes.

I thought that is the normal wanted behavior of unified_inventory ... so show me all items are availiable.

The diff to some privs I have seen, that then I don't need the source and just get 1,10 or 99 - or admin get 99 items whenever it is wanted.

So if your complain is right, mean I and most of my gamer used ui false for long time.

Thank you for the response, and I am seeing what you are saying. What throws me off is if I disable the unified inventory the behavior is still there.

@ Festus when you statue ui false, I take it that is in the init.lua?

unified_inventory in my understanding is the extra [Mod] unified_inventory I use (I open it with press "I" in game), and to take that "off" mean set it false in world.mt inside the worlds folder.

As see following post: diff to sfinv !!!

I dont see such behavior in my program playing as singleplayer, as soon as the unified inventory deactivated then it is back to old sfinv inventory. Maybe some creative settings was accidentally activated.

Make sure you haven't used /grantme all.
Doing so will grant you the "creative" privilege, making the creative inventory appear even when creative is disabled globally.

You can fix this by doing /revoke <playername> creative.

Hello sfan5,

That was it! I recall having to provide myself 'all' even thought I was the host. If I recall, I did not need to grant all, but that was a while back. I knew it was something silly.
